The 2020-2021 tuition & Creative Movement ages 2.5 - 2yrs/Pre-School class guideline

All classes are 50 minutes (with the exception of Creative Movement Class which is 35 minutes) due to the cleaning guidelines. Company classes and some recreational classes may be longer (60 minutes) if the same students are in the next class, and remain in the same classroom. Classes will be offered in the studio and also online via Zoom for students that do not want to come into the studio. All make-up classes for the 2020 – 2021 season will be done via zoom, but must pre-register for the class to receive the ID and password. If there is enough room in a studio class, a make-up can be scheduled.

Registration Is OPEN. You must specify if you want in the studio classes or online classes. Studio A & B can have 12 students and Studio C can have 6 or 7 students depending on style of dance.

Tuition will be based on classes taken. Example: if a student takes three classes per week tuition is $133.00 monthly. Company Practice and Technique classes are charged separately. Most classes (with the exception of creative movement) are 50 minutes long, due to the guidelines that we must follow regarding cleaning in between each class. If the same students are remaining in the same classroom for their next class, we are not required to clean in between that class, so some classes could be 60 minutes long. Class size will be smaller due to social distancing.

Tuition is a set rate, based on an annual fee, divided into 10 equal monthly payments from September 2020 - June 2021. Vacation weeks and holidays are taken into calculation when establishing tuition prices and you are not charge for them. Payments are the same each month; tuition is not prorated if a month only has 2 weeks or increased if the month has 5 weeks. The average season is based on 34.5 yearly classes. Dress rehearsal in the month of June is considered a class. Tuition is non-refundable and will not be prorated to accommodate for missed classes. Tuition is the same amount if classes are taken online or in the studio. Students may schedule up to 7 free make-up classes in advance for their first class and one make-up class for each class taken from September 2020 – February 2021 to offset any missed classes due to illness, snow days, holidays (Thanksgiving & Memorial Day) & Recital. Most make-up classes will be done via Zoom online. Some make-up classes will be in the studio if space is available. Tuition is due the 1st of each month with a grace period until the 15th of the month, with the exception of the month of June which is due on or before May 22nd 2021. If tuition is paid after the 15th of the month a late fee will be added. Payments can be cash, check or credit card. We are accepting payments on our website or you can come into the studio by calling first 978-343-7700 or payments can be sent in with the student. Masks must be worn when entering the studio.

*Please make note that at any time during the dance season, if necessary or mandated by the state, governor or mayor the studio may have to change from in studio classes to online classes via Zoom.

All Company Practice, Ballet & Jazz classes will be in the studio. Technique classes will be in studio and also on Zoom. Company members will alternate weeks in studio and online. Unfortunately, we cannot schedule technique class right after company classes, as we must allow enough time for a student to get home and log onto Zoom. We do not want to record the class and allow students to do class when they want to, as we feel that all students would not receive the same training, as they need to be part of a live class with an instructor. We hope that you understand the reason behind our decision, as it will benefit the dancer. Some other leveled Hip Hop & Lyrical class will also be in studio and online, alternating every other week.

*Guidelines for all classes ages 6+: Students are not required to wear a mask according to the Massachusetts  guidelines when they are dancing, but for extra safety we have made the decision that all students will wear a mask or face shield while dancing.  Parents must wear a mask at all time. If a child needs to use the bathroom masks must be worn and there is a sign in and sign out sheet for bathroom use to allow for cleaning.

*Guidelines for the Creative Movement class (35-minute class) – One parent will be allowed in the class with their child. Parents will line up around the perimeter of the studio 6 ft. apart and must wear a mask at all times. Parents will be responsible to keep their child within a 6ft square that will be marked on the studio floor. All parents and children must wear a mask to enter the studio and temperatures, including the parent will be taken upon arrival at the studio. We are asking that parents remain in the parking lot, just in case we need to call you regarding any issues with your child, such as bathroom use as our staff is not allowed to take them to the bathroom. These are the guidelines as of August, but this could change in the fall and we will keep parents updated. We hope that we may be able to open our wait area for one parent per child and allow for the 6ft social distance rule, but as of now we cannot have any wait areas open.
